ABOUT THIS PRODUCTION

The City of Atlantic Beach and Lumen Repertory Theatre present Theatre in the Park.

The Shakespearean Games: 2026 is a live, interactive mashup of Shakespeare's greatest scenes and improv-style competition. Professional actors, joined by Lumen Rep's NEXTGEN Apprentice Company, face off in head-to-head challenges while taking audience suggestions and unexpected direction in real time.

Featuring scenes from Much Ado About NothingThe Taming of the ShrewA Midsummer Night's DreamThe Comedy of ErrorsThe Tempest, and Hamlet, the evening is fast, funny, and unpredictable. Whether you're a Shakespeare fan or new to the Bard, this family-friendly performance promises a fun night of theatre under the stars.

The event is free and open to the public. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

A food truck will be on-site both nights with food and refreshments available for purchase.

    Katie is a multi-passionate artist and creator. She is an active member of the local film and theatre communities. You may remember her from previous Lumen productions as Mother Miriam in Agnes of God, Mommy in American Dream, and most recently, Michal in The Pillowman. When she's not working on a creative project, Katie leads tours around Jacksonville, hosts storytelling events, teaches kids yoga, runs her own life coaching business, and serves as Operations Director for Lumen Rep.   • RICHIE ROSADO

    Richie is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor in Fine Arts Degree. A few of his local credits include: Oliver in Puffs, Professor Plum in Clue and Rodney in Small Mouth Sounds. He’s very happy to rejoin some of his old castmates from Small Mouth Sounds to create a fun Shakespeare experience. He would like to thank his friends and family for all of their support, and would like to wish many broken legs to the cast of Shakespeare in the Park! @richieonstage

    Christopher is excited to be back as a part of this Shakespeare experience! He hopes you have fun and leave a little lighter and maybe a tad less scared of Shakespeare.
